Job Description - Internship

The Intern position will be exposed to a variety of projects. Job duties will include assisting the senior management staff with technical consulting projects for clients, as well as assisting with the development of innovative analytical tools to market. The Intern will make valuable contributions to the projects both by way of analytical support work and by energetic collaboration with other employees regarding company strategy, marketing efforts, etc. Our atmosphere is varied in its pace, but at all times, all employees are expected to be learning and advancing the firm and themselves.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position is a junior or senior in college, majoring in math, economics, actuarial science, business, statistics or related subjects. We are looking for the type of person who can see larger possibilities in a situation and is energized by making them happen. This individual must be highly motivated to succeed, with strong communication skills, both written and oral. Technical ability in their chosen discipline is something the ideal candidate demonstrates easily. The candidate must also have a willingness and ability to learn new things.

Proficiency with programming tools, Web development and Microsoft Excel is a plus, but not required.
